Strawberry Beaches Forever

The streets of Nova Scotia aren’t exactly paved with gold, but our beaches are flooded with strawberries… at least they were on that day in October 2012! Strawberries as far as the eye could see. No kidding. Wherever did they come from? After lunch we came back to the beach as the sky had become more interesting. There must have been a line of 1/2 km or more, 18″ wide or so, of strawberries. And that’s just the amount of beach that I could see.

October Evening

In album Nova Scotia Landscapes (56 photos)

This is a typical view of the Annapolis Valley, looking towards the North Mountain. It's not necessarily what you would describe as spectacular, but it has a beautiful quality that you never tire of. I walked past this scene for years and never really saw how lovely it was until the other evening. It just shows how important it is to look to 'see' and not just 'look'.
