To celebrate my new collection on Google+ “Details of Life” featuring the abstract view of life
During our walk to Lion’s Head and to the cliffs above Georgian Bay, we passed through some woods. Deep inside we came across this old vehicle riddled with bullet holes. A getaway car?

In fact the snow began as soon as I took this and got back in the car, a real blizzard, one of the ugliest days of the winter (so far). I don’t know what this crop is, but though I wanted to identify it, the weather was so cold and miserable that I just couldn’t bring myself to go into the field to find out. It’s not Brussels sprouts as I thought at first. Let’ hope Spring is soon coming.
Edit: I now realize that this is a field of kale.

We had a great (if cold) day in Quebec city in November and this pair was too preoccupied to pay any attention to me (or to the cold). They were on the ramparts looking down over the old city.

Carrying her chuck-it launcher and ball and accompanied by our border collie puppy, Joni (who is out of the frame, fetching the ball), she has returned from her journey to the top of the world. Joni needed a complete round trip to begin to be a bit tired. Ellie got there first (to the exhausted part).
