Haha! very nice try to turn the corner! +Steven Kennard What did you do to have them all flying around there?? and do you really already have snow!!?? :o) BUTT I have also to mention, that this landscape has something magical!
Would have been a lovely landscape were it not for the flying interference. A heavy use of some feathered brush seems to have been employed here, which has me intrigued. As there is NOTT a theme of the above mentioned title, I won't comment on the frequent BUTT flashes. Nice trees and wintry fields, +Steven Kennard and I can see what a great contribution it is for the absolutely existing and wonderful #farmfriday theme.
Hahaha! Super fun post, +Steven Kennard, with a gorgeous image (and very nice that it applies to a real theme and not some fictional figment of a demented #seagullbuttshot fanatic! … ;oD) However, I must tell you … you've done it now… you are so in trouble … ;o7
+Steven Kennard I've posted to #farmfriday with a thought as to how some growers keep the flapping and feathers away from their landscape ;)) … and I must fly before I'm sucked into this implication that I might in some way be associated with this when NO such theme exists. #seagullbuttintervention
+Ursula Klepper – thanks a lot, we have had a few flurries! I'm glad you like the landscape. And I got Ellie tofun through the field playing the violin. That got them flying around pretty fast!
+Craig Szymanski – see my post above and understand that Ellie does absolutely NOTT play the violin. Which is why they are flying around thick and heavy above that field. Why they went there in the first place is to have sticks shaken at their BUTTs of course. As it's also their national sport.
+Authentic Seacoast Company – try shaking a stick at them instead. They so much prefer it to being captured! The thing is, once you capture them, what do you do with them? See Robin's post about the difficulties of photographing seagulls in the studio.
Thanks +Jon Cassill do not fear. You are well and truly sucked in. Get your stick ready. It's soon seagullbuttstickshaking season.
LOL! +Steven Kennard I can hardly imagin Ellie running with the violine through the field! ;o) more sitting on a rock, with the face turned to the sun! :o)

I've never shaken a stick at a seagulls butt. I'll have to try it.

Must be some good pickins' left in that field 🙂
Thanks for the chuckle at the mention of this non-theme 🙂
Amazing! Love the seagulls during the winter. We captured hundreds flying over the harbour in Guysborough last winter http://flic.kr/p/dWcXkD
Way to go +Steven Kennard !

Tries to shake a stick… fails
Wonderful shot!
Great shot +Steven Kennard . Now if there were only a theme to post it for. Alas, maybe someone can come up with one – LOL.
Are there some BUTTerflies :-)???
+Ursula Klepper – thanks a lot, we have had a few flurries! I'm glad you like the landscape. And I got Ellie tofun through the field playing the violin. That got them flying around pretty fast!
+Brian Bridges – well worth a try! #seagullbuttstickshaking is a national sport where I come from!
+Robin Griggs Wood – Ha! Tremble tremble. I'm so scared it's taken me two days to write a reply. 😀 See my reply below to the +Authentic Seacoast Company BTW

+Bette Kauffman – oh yes, doesn't it? It will soon become a daily theme! Or NOTT.
Thanks a lot +Tom McGowan – don't we wish there was? BUTT I think it should be #seagullbuttstickshakingsaturday and try saying that with a potato in your mouth.
+Joyce Fay – You know what it is. It's the part of the seagull's anatomy that you shake a stick at.
Oh yes, +Steve Savoie – taking cover fast!
It is, +Lauri Novak .
+Christina Lihani – that's the spirit! At least you tried! Try a different stick.
If only…. +Pam Wolfe 😉
