Medusa – Collaborative work by myself and metal artist Elizabeth Goluch

Sculptural piece in African Blackwood, turned, pierced and carved, Sterling silver, oxydized and Snakewood. This piece opens (the top cap) ) to reveal a snakewood lined cavity which contains a wearable pendant. This pendant is the Medusa head, with snake hair (the snakes are moveable) and chain links in the shape of a snake per link. Detailed images of the head and others are seen in this gallery. The piece is approximately 9" high and sits on black plate glass.
