I returned last week to my favourite hidden waterfall in the woods. It's beginning to look interesting with the ice building up and was still accessible as there was not much snow under the trees..

great works!
Beautiful as waterfalls are so much more interesting in the winter with ice. Thank you for sharing with the #LandscapePhotography theme.
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing with the #LandscapePhotography theme!!
Killer, I love waterfalls and ice. Wish I had a super secret private waterfall to shoot! 😉
Thanks +Anatoliy Urbanskiy
Thank you +Tom Hierl I'm looking forward to more ice in the coming weeks.
Cheers +Margaret Tompkins
Well thank you +Michael Riffle This waterfall is so hidden I doubt that many know of its existence. Well worth the steep decent although a bit treacherous with all the snow!
+Steven Kennard thanks so much!! Happy New Year!!
What a great spot for a photo op! Be careful of your steps, yes. A relative of mine recently slipped on icy rock and suffered a severe TBI upon falling and hitting her head on the rock trying to snap a picture.
Good advice +Deborah Green especially with snow and ice on the ground. Fortunately in this case there are quite a number of trees to hang onto during the decent. Next time I visit the waterfall I will wear rubber boots so that I can get into the water and get a different perspective on the scene.
