It is quite amazing the advances that have been made in digital photography since the days when I took this picture on my Canon D30, Canon’s first DSLR camera to be released, sporting a massive 3 MP sensor!
At the time I was shooting in jpg (ouch) as I was not yet aware of the advantages of raw images. I became so, shortly afterwards.
This was my first (and only so far) trip to Niagara Falls. The falls that you see in the distance are on the US side, while the Maid of the Mist is heading toward the Canadian falls which are to my right and behind where I was standing.
Love the gorgeous rainbow!! Beautiful! Thanks for sharing with #LandscapePhotography !!
+Steven Kennard It has been quite some time since i saw you, or did I missed your posts?
Thanks for sharing this image of early digital era, metaphorically speaking a 'lot or water has passed down the Niagara fall' since
then:-)
I posted yesterday and last weekend +Aamir Shahzad so maybe a just got lost in the stream of things. Yes things have advanced enormously since those days, it has been an exciting ride and continues to be an interesting one too. Thanks for stopping by Aamir!
