Our trip to Ontario this spring included a stay on an inlet off Georgian Bay and on one occasion we went on a walk with a climb up through a wood to the top of a cliff overlooking the amazing and unique colours of Georgian Bay itself. Note the absence of handrails (and the presence of rings in the rock for those who climb up the cliff from the shore). It might not look it, but it was a long way down.
It was a tranquil scene unless you suffer from vertigo.
Makes me feel weak in the legs just remembering it!

No, this was Lion's Head Provincial Park walk (based on our My Tracks app which actually prevented us from getting lost on the way back down, otherwise we might still be there). +X-MEN WOLVERINE
From there we went to The Grotto.
Ok, you not too far from Tobermory then.. Maybe 10 km away… Make sure you
check out Cyprus Lake!!! Once you in Cyprus, check out The Gherto!! It will
worth your wide!!! Check out Flower Pot Island too… If you have the
time…

I have gone to that spot near Lion's Head a few times. It is hard to resist again once you have been one time.

ANYWHERE in NORTHERN Ont. Is very HARD to resist once you up there… Check
out Manitoulin Island if you have a chance!!! There are a few GREAT trails
and Lighthouses… There's this trail, I forgot the name, but once you
reach the top, you can look out the entire English Channel, and if you time
it right, get up there by sunset…. GOLDEN!!!
+X-MEN WOLVERINE I consider Manitoulin to be almost magical. I expect to go through there twice this year. I'd love to spend at least a year there
