The theme for this week is "Technology". Does it not seem ridiculous, when half the world has no bread to eat, that so much technology has been invested into making toast? In contrast the bread in here is a staple food for so many and is made in a time honoured traditional way, from sourdough. So old meets new.

Week 16: Technology
#toast #toaster #smarttoaster
Lol lo so love that title! 🙂 And i agree completely on the thoughts! we don't even own one anymore, but we're still making toasts just in a different way, more natural 🙂
That toaster looks like it may have a usb port on it somewhere… 🙂
I think that's the next model up +Bill Cornies along with wi fi so that you can have it online and make your toast remotely. 😉
Superbe
Merci Beaucoup +Paul Paradis
Is that for real ? May be your sourdough bread needs special handling 🙂
I'm embarrassed to say it is +Rekha Rao I was seduced by it. And of coarse +Ellie Kennard sourdough bread is extremely good and does need very special handling!
Too high tech for me +Steven Kennard. I'd have to give up toast. But a good subject for today's theme. Very nice.
I can't give up, +Janet Patterson I have an addiction. I have to have toast at least twice a day.
Maybe just give up the toaster in favour of one with less buttons, +Steven Kennard…a low tech toaster perhaps would still do the job.
I bet I would still end up with burnt toast…
Nice shot nonetheless… 🙂
Thanks +Grant Barrett
And where's AUTO?
Good question +Ralph Troppmann Not as high tech as all that!
It needs browness sensors.
and crustyness, too
Nothing to be embarrassed about +Steven Kennard – toast is a big part of our lives, so it's natural that we would need a heavy duty toaster with all the bells and whistles.
