Still a few places left on the Course "Turned and Sculpted Boxes"

I'm really looking forward to teaching a class in turned and sculpted boxes at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine, September 7-11 this year. It's my third time back and I always enjoy it. It's a beautiful part of the country and the school has just built a brand new woodturning studio (for me?). It's beautifully equiped with lots of Oneway lathes. It's a dream environment, a 'must go to' destination to come and learn about makng beautiful boxes. It's a lovely time of the year, too.

Still a few places left, so check it out here:

  1. +Steven Kennard, I lived just twenty miles or so up the road from Rockport from 1976 to 1978. I was in Searsport, just outside Belfast, and I had quite a few close friends in Rockport and would drive there often to visit them. When I moved up there it was with the intention of staying, but things did not work out as I had hoped, which is how I wound up in Phoenix for such a long time before coming to Ohio. Personally I love it up north, and that part of Maine is just beautiful. It broke my heart to leave.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your time there.
