This girl was the only one of her breed on the dairy farm near where we live. The rest of the cows are Jerseys. The reason they always have one like her is that when their mother came to the farm to marry their father, she was given one of these cattle to bring with her. So it is a sentimental tradtion that they like to keep up. She\u00a0also likes to wear odd earrings! (That's because\u00a0she's a modern girl, of course.)\u00a0<\/p>\n
